I read this morning that the church in Afghanistan is preparing for a murderous onslaught. They are expecting that the Islamist Taliban rulers will do everything they can to wipe out the 5000 – 8000 Christians who are in the country. Similarly, Islamic forces across the middle-east have been emboldened in their snarling hatred of Christ and His people by the fall of Afghanistan. This is not to mention the ongoing opposition our brothers and sisters in China are facing from atheist, Communist murderers masquerading as heads of state and government officials.
Christianity has always been the target of murderous forces. Are you ready? Beginning with Cain God’s people have been under violent assault. 1 Peter chapter 3 provides guidance on how to endure suffering for the Lord. The answer might surprise you.
