This is one of those pretty rare days where we are reading two chapters in James. We have another two-chapter day tomorrow. Hang in there. God guarantees His word has an impact in our lives. In today’s reading we continue with James’ theme about faith that works. On of the works of faith is a tongue we can keep under control! I wonder if anyone has ever read these words without feeling convicted? Another of the works of faith is wisdom that reflects godliness, which James writes about at the end of chapter 3. Chapter 4 is all about the danger of pride.
