Hebrews Chapter 8

“Now the point in what we are saying is…” I love how this chapter starts. The writer is gathering together all that he has been saying and focusing it down to one point: Jesus is our high priest. Since we are not immersed in temple worship, or the details concerning the ministry of the high priest the significance of this point might be lost on us. That is, unless we read today’s chapter. This morning we will learn of the cosmic and eternal significance of Jesus’ priesthood.
