In today’s reading John continues to be show us the judge of the universe, the risen Jesus. He is revealed as the one worthy to judge. Verses 9-10 give us four reasons that this is true. Then the chapter ends with a cacophony of worship in heaven for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, the Lamb.
One of the things to note as you read Revelation is how noisy heaven is! It is a place that is resounding with praise and worship. I pray that each of you might experience just a little of the exuberant worship of heaven each Sunday you gather with God’s people
