We all need prayer! I don’t mean we all need to pray, that goes without saying. What I do mean is that we all need people to be praying for us. Even apostles’ needed prayer. You will see that in today’s reading. Paul asks for prayer so that He might have the opportunity to carry on with his ministry. This tells us that God not only ordains the ends, in this case that Paul would have opportunity to teach and preach. It also tells us that God has ordained the means. That is it is by means of the prayers of the faithful that Paul’s ministry goes forward. After today’s reading why not pray that everyone who watches this video today would be encouraged, edified, and equipped to do the work that God has prepared for them to do.
