A new day finds us in a new book of the Bible. This morning we start a book Luther spent so much time with that he called it “His Wife”. Like Lutheran theology as a whole this book focuses on the fundamental issue of grace vs. effort or work. In this first chapter the Lord, through Paul, makes it crystal clear that salvation and its fruits are through faith only, and only through faith in Him.

Hi, I am Dan Starcevich. I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Estes Park Colorado. Not only do I run TheoFaith but I also serve as a professor at Tyndale Theological Seminary and Bible Institute. I wasn’t always a theologian. I was in the United States Army for almost 10 years then spent 30 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Thanks to the support of my wife I was also able to get degrees from Hawaii Pacific University (B.S.), The University of Southern California (M.S.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Thm.), and Tyndale Theological Seminary (PhD.).
