By God’s grace every saved person has a spiritual gift. Not only that in Romans 12:6 we are urged to put them to use. In today’s chapter Paul provides some guidelines on how these gifts are to be used for the building up of Jesus’ church.
If you are new to Reading Romans through Revelation my recommendation is that you just jump in with today’s reading and press on from here. If you are super-ambitious and want to catch up, you will find links to the past videos below.

This is a ministry of TheoFaith. My mission in this ministry is to Encourage you to engage with God’s word, Edify you or build you up through the word, and Educate you in the word.
Hi, I am Dan Starcevich. I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I live in Windsor Colorado, just north of Denver. Not only do I run TheoFaith but I also serve as a professor at Tyndale Theological Seminary and Bible Institute, and I serve as the academic dean and professor of applied faith at Agathon University.
I wasn’t always a theologian. I was in the United States Army for almost 10 years, then spent 30 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Thanks to the support of my wife I was also able to get degrees from Hawaii Pacific University (B.S.), The University of Southern California (M.S.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Thm.), and Tyndale Theological Seminary (PhD. and D.min).
My deep desire is the see people grow in the knowledge of the Lord through deep, enriching, satisfying engagement with Scripture.

Good balanced and beneficial presentation of 1 Cor. 14. I am not a cessationist so I give it a more “charismatic” interpretation. I have received personal “prophecies” that encouraged me, but of course preaching the word is more important.
Thanks so much. I appreciate your comment. So many within the body of Christ seem to be looking for a fight. The seize on a point of difference and make it into a test of orthodoxy, or even salvation. While their are things to divide over. I see so much unnecessary division in the body.
