Please Stop it! Dispensationalism Does not Teach Two Ways of Salvation
Man, I am so tired of hearing this criticism of Dispensationalism. I think it has been floating around since 1909 when the original Scofield Study Bible first rolled off the press.
Every time it has come up it has been refuted. Nevertheless critics of dispensationalism won’t give it up. Instead they roll out this same old tired objection. Perhaps this indicates that they just don’t have any good objections left. In this video I try to take a balanced look at the claim.
If you are a dispensationalist this will give you some help should you have to answer this claim. If you are just investigating dispensationalism then consider the claims and counter-claims before you decide. If you are not a dispensationalist, never will be, and would never let your daughter marry one, then do me a favor and just please stop rolling out this old accusation!
Hi, I am Dan Starcevich. I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I live in Windsor Colorado, just north of Denver. Not only do I run TheoFaith but I also serve as a professor at Tyndale Theological Seminary and Bible Institute, and I serve as the academic dean and professor of applied faith at Agathon University.
I wasn’t always a theologian. I was in the United States Army for almost 10 years, then spent 30 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Thanks to the support of my wife I was also able to get degrees from Hawaii Pacific University (B.S.), The University of Southern California (M.S.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Thm.), and Tyndale Theological Seminary (PhD. and D.min).
My deep desire is the see people grow in the knowledge of the Lord through deep, enriching, satisfying engagement with Scripture.
