Most are surprised to hear that the anti-christ is never once mentioned in the Book of Revelation. This key last-days player is discussed in 12 different passages in the New Testament, but none of them in this book. Instead he is introduced in today’s reading as the beast from the sea. His demonic cohort, the beast from the earth, also makes his appearance today. They will prominent through the rest of the book.

I wasn’t always a theologian. I was in the United States Army for almost 10 years, then spent 30 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
