The last chapters of Ezekiel can be a flashpoint of disagreement and contention. Some understand these chapters to be speaking of the spread of the church. Others believe Ezekiel sees a vision of the last days kingdom of God. Still others think Ezekiel is predicting a coming temple in Jerusalem during the millennial reign of Jesus. Whose right? That is what we will explore in this Saturday Special.
By the way, I called this a Saturday Special but it is ready now. So, I thought why not just post it a day early?

Excellent presentation. Literal temple goes with a literal millennium with sinful people being born and dying. I haven’t made a decision on the four explanations. It’s still hard to accept the continuation of sacrifices even for ritual purposes.
How will the antichrist build his temple with the Dome of the Rock on the temple mount? Just wondering.
Great question! Some believe that what is currently thought to be the location of the third temple is wrong. That the third temple will be built on a slightly different location. Others, that the Dome of the Rock will be destroyed.
There are different views on how the Dome of the Rock (DoR) will be handled. One view is that we are wrong on where the temple was. According to this view, once the actually location is figured out we will see that the DoR isn’t in the way. Another view is that the DoR will somehow be destroyed. According to this view the anti-christ covenant will include an agreement to rebuild the DoR near the anti-christ temple. A third view is that the anti-christ temple will just be built on a location that accommodates the DoR as it exists today. According to this view this location will be part of the anti-christ covenant and a concession Israel will make for peace.
Those are of course all speculative. I think there are probably as many theories as there are Bible teachers!
Revelation 11:1-2 “Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there. 2 But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.”
This appears to suggest that the Dome of the Rock will be there in the courtyard outside the temple.
